About UsJohnson's HistoryThe business of W M Johnson & Co Pty Ltd had its origin with the founder Walter Milton (Did) Johnson, who began his career with previous International Harvester Dealer R F Hudson during September 1928. On the retirement of Ray Hudson in 1938, Did carried on the franchises of International Harvester and Caltex Oil in his own right from premises in Sanger Street Corowa. During the ensuing years, Gaston Bros implements were added. The business grew and prospered from here with the Fiat-Hesston franchise being accepted in 1978. During 1986 following troubled times, International Harvester Agricultural division was purchased by Tenneco Corporation and merged with their already acquired Case division to become known as Case International. The truck division was acquired by Iveco (Fiat). This facet of our business was relinquished during 1988. The business continued from Sanger Street until 1986 when a decision was made by current dealer principal Lynton Johnson (Did’s son who took over following Did’s death in 1980) to relocate the business to the current site at Honour Avenue where modern new premises were constructed on an eight acre site adjacent to Corowa Saleyards. These premises were occupied in March 1987. Our principal franchise is CaseIH, which offers a substantial and varied range of Tractors, Combine Harvesters, and Hay Equipment. To supplement and enhance our range we also offer the additional franchise lines: Please click here view a list of additional lines. Fully trained and adequate staff levels are maintained to ensure ongoing satisfaction to a broad customer base located over North East Victoria and the Southern Riverina areas. A fully accredited Case business system is utilized to provide a fully computerised system for all facets of W M Johnson & Co Pty Lty. The firm enjoys an excellent reputation for sales and service, which has been established over a period of many years.
